Why the chicken cup: In a land where street food abounds, the chicken cup reigns supreme. When's the last time you've had a truly unique teokboki or Hotteok? You haven't. While we get behind most street delicacies, the chicken cup is truly special. Each a unique creation unto itself. Sauce, Chicken & Teok all separate factors. One cup is a quick, fulfilling fix. Two cups are a meal to be savored. And bang for your buck, the chicken cup is unmatched.
Our Mission: To review every damn cup we pass in Korea but, specifically, those in Wonju and search evermore for The King of the Kup. We love chicken of all varieties but, if the chicken has bones or comes only in box sizes, then it's a NO-GO for review. Whenever possible, you too should do your part to keep the chicken population under control in Korea.
왜 컵닭인가: 길거리음식이 넘쳐나는 이 곳에서, 컵닭은 최상위를 군림하고 있습니다. 여러분들은 진짜진짜 특이하고 기억에 남는 떡볶이나 호떡을 먹어본 적 있나요? 아마 없을거에요. 우리가 대부분의 길거리음식을 섭렵해 봤지만, 컵닭은 정말 특별합니다. 모든 특별한 요소들이 컵닭을 완성시켜요. 소스, 치킨, 떡… 컵닭 하나는 빠르고 만족할만한 양, 컵닭 두개는 맛있는 식사가 됩니다. 만약 금전적인 여유가 없다면, 컵닭은 최고의 선택이 될거에요.
우리의 미션: 우리가 한국에서, 특히 원주에서, 마주치는 모든 컵닭들을 리뷰하기, 그리고 컵닭의 왕을 찾아내기. 우리는 다양한 치킨을 사랑하지만, 뼈가 있는 치킨과 박스에 담겨서 나오는 치킨은 리뷰하지 않습니다. 가능할때마다, 여러분들도 한국의 인구밀도..가 아니라 치킨밀도를 낮추기 위해 자신의 역할을 다 해야합니다.
